Have you ever fallen in love with a typeface, an alphabet, a glyph or a typographer without confessing it? We invite you to write them a declaration of love. We’ll pass it on!

These declarations will be printed and displayed in the “Lettres d’amour” exhibition, at the Bel Ordinaire, from 10 April to 29 June 2024 and at the Rencontres de Lure, in August 2024. All the declarations will be posted on this page, made public on the opening day, 9 April 2024. A selection of them will be printed in risography and offered to the public.

The text can be your own or a royalty-free text. All characters, alphabets, writing systems and polyamours are welcome :)

Templates

Whether it's a word, a sentence or a long letter, all entries should be typeset on A4. They should include the name of the author (even if anonymous entries are accepted), and the name of the typeface(s) used. Templates can be downloaded in indd and svg format. As in any self-respecting love letter, please avoid defamatory or hateful comments (even if addressed to Comic sans MS or Helvetica).
